Borderlands 3 (Xbox One)
Mayhem, madness, and a butt load of guns – these are all things that make the perfect adventure game such as Borderlands 3. Borderlands is a fantastic series known worldwide for its addicting shoot & loot mechanics that have entirely changed how we view single-player games.
This action-adventure RPG is full of all the things that make Borderlands, well, Borderlands. This version of the game is somehow even more insane than the previous ones. The game with the most guns in the world is a game to behold, and all the other aspects aren’t bad either.
The graphics of this game are fantastic as they bring the familiar Borderlands art style to the new age – as the graphics push the Xbox One to its limits, and that’s saying something considering that the console has fantastic graphics.
Shoot your way through hordes of enemies in new worlds as one of four Vault Hunters, each of which is entirely different from the other. Not only are they different by design, but you’ll also get a unique skill and ability set, as well as fantastic customization options to play with and explore. All this adds to the replayability factor.
Whether you want to have a crack at the exciting story or shoot a wall of guns at enemies with your pals, you’ll have a fantastic time pushing it to the limit with Borderlands 3. Remember, the nastiest, most ruthless, vile cult leaders in the galaxy aren’t going to kill themselves.
Borderlands 3 is now free on the Epic Games Store
To celebrate the start of its 2022 Mega Sale, Epic Games has announced it’s giving away the once exclusive Borderlands 3 for a week. After giving away a trio of fantastic games last week, we weren’t quite sure that the “mystery game” that Epic Games was teasing us with was going to be able to […]
Grab Borderlands 3 while it’s free on the Epic Games Store
If you can tune out the noise, it's a lot of fun From today until Thursday, May 26, you can download Borderlands 3 for free from the Epic Games Store — or just add it to your never-actually-gonna-play-this PC game pile. Is it worth your time? Well, that depends on how into Borderlands you were in the early days and how open to the series you are today. I'm the type of person who can tune out a lot of the grating NPC chatter and just enjoy the character-building, loot-snatching, kinda-mindless-in-a-good-way setup — but maybe that's too tall of an order for you in 2022. Borderlands 3 is particularly fun with co-op partners by your side (that goes for all of these games), and there are neat overpowered guns waiting to be found. Speaking of which, the PC version does allow cross-play, so if you're getting Borderlands 3 for free from the Epic Games Store and your friends already have it on Steam, you'll be able to play together. My favorite change in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was the new on-foot overworld, which I greatly preferred to all of the driving in Borderlands 3 that ultimately felt like busywork to me. That said, the prior game still has its place in many ways, especially if you're even remotely interested in this ever-expanding universe. If you're primarily in it for the RPG-ified shooter gameplay at this point (same!), it's worth checking out. I mean, it is free. This freebie was a "mystery game" until it unwrapped itself today, and the Epic Games Store's next deal is a surprise, too. We'll find out what the next giveaway is on May 26. [caption id="attachment_322744" align="alignnone" width="1920"] The Epic Mega Sale runs until June 16, 2022.[/caption] The Epic Mega Sale has 25% off coupons While you're here, it's also worth mentioning that the Epic Mega Sale is running right now through June 16. Naturally, there are automatic coupons, too — 25% off. In terms of high-profile deals, there's Ghostwire: Tokyo ($39.59), Dying Light 2 ($53.99), Tiny Tina's Wonderlands ($47.99), and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade ($49.69). And remember: games priced at $14.99 or above qualify for the bonus 25% off coupon. I'll also point to this list of the current Epic Games Store exclusive games (that aren't also available on Steam), which can be tricky to pin down. More recently, there are games like Sifu ($35.99), Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin ($44.99), Salt and Sacrifice ($19.99), and Evil Dead: The Game ($39.99), the latter two of which just launched. Grab Borderlands 3 for free (and massive discounts) in Epic’s ‘Mega’ game sale
Love ’em or hate ’em, you can’t deny that Epic brings the goodies to the PC gaming market. The company’s tautological “Epic MEGA Sale” starts today, discounting over 1600 titles. But that’s not the big news: The Epic Games Store is still giving away new games every Thursday, and this week none other than Borderlands 3 is in the spotlight. The sequel to the well-received Borderlands 2 (we don’t talk about Bruno Pre-Sequel) came out in late 2019, and delivered a fairly perfect mix of shooting, looting, and co-op gameplay over huge maps and varied missions. The game’s humor isn’t for everyone, but if you want variety in guns and other weapons, it’s just about impossible to beat. It’s free to add to your account between now and May 26th. Epic On top of the freebie, every Epic account holder can get another 25 percent off coupon for a single purchase. That can go to a single game or multiple titles, so long as the total price of all of them is over $15. That discount is in addition to any other discounts listed. So for example, if you want the even more recent Borderlands title Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, it’s 20 percent off the $60 list price, plus 25 percent with your coupon, for a grand total of $32.99. Not bad for a AAA game that came out less than two months ago. Other notably discounted games in the sale include Dying Light 2, Sifu, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Risk of Rain 2, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Deathloop, Chorus, Back 4 Blood, and Hitman 3. Video Games
